Clinical Research Assistants

Nico Pulitano is a Master's student at the University of Zurich. Currently, he works as an assistant in the laboratory of Visceral and Transplant Surgery, where he oversees study participants and supports ongoing research projects.

His research focuses on the long-teerm effects of bariatric procedures, particularly examining hormonal differences between men and women. By analysing these variations, he aims to contribute to a more personalised approach in post-surgical patient care. The study seeks to enhance the understanding of metabolic and endocrine changes following bariatric surgery, ultimately improving treatment strategies and long-term outcomes for patients.
