Nico Pulitano

Nico Pulitano is a medical student at the University of Zurich. Currently, he works as an clinical research assistant at the laboratory of Visceral Surgery and Transplantion, where he supports ongoing research projects with patient managemnt and data collection.
His research focuses on the long-term effects of bariatric procedures, particularly examining hormonal differences between men and women. By analysing these variations, he aims to contribute to a more personalised approach in post-surgical patient care. His research work seeks to enhance the understanding of metabolic and endocrine changes following metabolic bariatric surgery, ultimately improving treatment strategies and long-term outcomes for patients with obesity.
